About Me

My photo
HATTER AND FRENCH FLOWER MAKER- Georgina's natural passion and interest in fabric design lead to studying Studio Textiles before finding her true love of Millinery. A passion that lead her to the doors of the Melbourne school of Millinery, which is now a part of Kangan Tafe Victoria. Some years on now, Georgina has won a number of millinery wards including Young Milliner of the Year and Fashions on the Field Millinery Award at Flemington. Her clientele consists of private clients, a handful of local VIPs and Celebrities and select boutiques. Straw, jinsin and silks are Georgina’s favoured materials. These give her freedom to mould and form shapes and structures which allow each work to be both unique and boldly eye-catching. Shaping such materials by hand also means that she can utilize many designs and is not restricted to using the same blocks. Georgina’s philosophy is to offer each client a creation which they can always wear and enjoy, knowing it is an artwork in itself.
